Great weekend at the Lodge! It was so nice to see Phil, Geri, Clyde and Terri. We spent the weekend catching up and relaxing. Friday night we enjoyed a beautiful evening sipping beverages and roasting Cajun Shrimp over the campfire. Saturday brought a narrow window that allowed us to get out on the lake and do a little fishing. Phil proved to be the master fisherman catching one after another. He is so good that if the fish isn't a keeper it jumps off his hook when it hits the boat so he doesn't have to touch it. Rick decided to try his big brothers technique but it didn't turn out so good. He lost a VERY LARGE northern just as Clyde was getting the net. When the rain started we headed back to play "Cards Against Humanity". This is not a card game for everyone and definitely adults only but the six of us laughed so hard, for two hours, we got headaches. Some of us learned a few new words although we probably won't be using them in everyday conversations.
